The Kiba Kiba Collection by Kitanie Books inspires young people (ages 6-11+) to dream about positive themes such as joy, courage, love, self-esteem, healing the waters of the world, gratitude and the cosmic universe. Each book has a story (and a dream) that can be colored, drawn or imagined. The books inspire dreamers to reach their highest potential, celebrate their uniqueness, travel the world, conquer their fears and dream big.
Dozens of "power of dreaming" workshops have been held at schools, community centers, libraries, children's hospitals and children's museums in US, Canada and Norway including Saratoga Springs Children’s Museum, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital (New York Presbyterian), Saratoga Arts Fest, St. George’s School (Canada), Fairfield Country Day School, Saratoga Arts Council Summer Camp, Norwegian Play Spirits (Norway), Saratoga Arts, Saratoga Springs Public Library, Ballston Spa Community Center (Partnered With Water.org).
Kitanie Books was a finalist for a We Media Game Changers Award, the recipient of SPAF Project Grant from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) administered by the Saratoga Country Arts Council and the subject of a TEDx talk on the power of dreaming.
